For over seven decades, the Wilmington Contractors Association has served as the gathering place for contractors, suppliers, and industry partners across southeastern North Carolina. From hosting signature networking events to funding scholarships that help students launch their careers in construction, we are proud to play a role in building both our city’s skyline and its future workforce.
For over 70 years, the Wilmington Contractors Association has served as the hub for contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and construction professionals across southeastern North Carolina.
Known affectionately as “WilCon,” our organization was founded on the belief that strong relationships lead to stronger projects- and stronger communities. We foster connections, encourage collaboration, and support the professional growth of our members while making a lasting difference in the lives of local students.
Established in 1950, WCA combines decades of industry experience with a forward-looking approach to building strong professional networks and supporting the next generation of skilled tradespeople.
Our association thrives because of the dedication of our members- contractors, suppliers, and partners who share a common goal: to strengthen the construction industry while making a positive impact on the region we call home.
Our events bring together contractors, industry leaders, and community partners to share ideas, explore opportunities, and form lasting partnerships.
Through our fundraising efforts, Wilmington Contractors Association has contributed over $157,000 to scholarships at Cape Fear Community College, helping students pursue careers in construction and related trades.
